Justin joined the firm as an associate in 2006 and has focused primarily on class action litigation.  He also practices in the areas of products liability and general personal injury.  Justin has extensive experience in complex and mass-tort litigation and currently serves as Co-Liaison Counsel in the Multi-District Litigation In re: FEMA Trailer Formaldehyde Products Liability Litigation – MDL 1873.

    Justin received his undergraduate and legal education from Loyola University (B.S., 1989; J.D., 1996). He was admitted to the Louisiana bar in October of 1996 and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Louisiana as well as the United States Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit.

    Justin has a committed interest and history of service in various professional and civic organizations.  He currently serves as a board member for the New Orleans Bar Association as well as an officer of the Academy of New Orleans Trial Lawyers.  Justin also serves as the current chair of the Pro Bono Project, an organization that provides free civil legal services to the parishes of the Greater New Orleans area.  He also twice served as chair of the Pro Bono Project’s annual fund-raiser, the Justice for All Ball.  He is a past president and current board member of the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of New Orleans, the voice of abused and neglected children in Juvenile Court.

    Justin is also a member of the Louis A. Martinet Society, the Louisiana Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice, the National Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

    Justin is a 2007 graduate of the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute, a program of Greater New Orleans, Inc.  He serves on the Advisory Panel of Prospect 2, a biennial international contemporary art show to be held in New Orleans and was a member of the 2010 Mayor’s Transition Team for Criminal Justice.
