On July 30, 2009, months before the hospital's press conference and official apology, the firm filed a class action petition against Ochsner Fertility Clinic and its embryologist, Vincent Williams, which seeks to certify a class of plaintiffs for the negligent mishandling and/or mislabeling of embryos.
