In the Chinese Drywall case, which has been transferred to the federal court in New Orleans, firm attorney, Gerald E. Meunier is one of only 13 attorneys appointed by the Court to serve on the Plaintiffs' Steering Committee. Mr. Meunier and another firm attorney, Michael J. Ecuyer, also have been designated as two of the lawyers who will be presenting the case for plaintiff homeowners in trials scheduled for February 19, 2010 and March 15, 2010. The results in these trials will have an impact on all Chinese Drywall cases in the United States, and could lead to settlement discussions on behalf of a large number of homeowners with Chinese Drywall.
